The efficacy of perfluorhexyloctane as an internal tamponade agent for the repair of proliferative vitreoretinopathy

Question : To measure the end point criteria :- visual outcome, anatomical success rate in a pilot study.

Methods: Before-after study
Prospective controlled trial

Sample: 5 Ophthalmology patients

Outcome Measure : Patients will benefit from better visual outcome, lower incidence of glaucoma and cataract following surgery. Post operative visual acuity and incidence of proliferative vitreoretinopathy. Rate of retinal attachment after 1 or more operations
