Taxonomy
The EVSL taxonomy is expressed in two areas: in the hierarchical navigation list and/or in the keyword vocabulary. This accommodates for future addition of either wider or narrower terms and promotion of resources with common keywords to be represented within the navigation list.
The EVSL taxonomy is expandable as it covers concepts within the dimensions of eye conditions and eye signs, diagnostic, surgical, and refractive procedures, drugs for eye conditions and health service delivery terms.
